Part 1, Module 1 NTSV: Accurate Coding for Improved Quality Measures

Module I of this program defines and covers the overview of NULLIPAROUS, TERM, SINGLETON, VERTEX (NTSV).

This webseries, which contains a total of 14 modules, describes the coding involved and quality measures related to NTSV. 

Objectives for the NTSV webseries include:
  • Provide participants with an overview of implications of Nulliparous, Term, Singleton, Vertex (NTSV) in low-risk moms (Program I). 
  • Describe conditions of pregnancy and those that complicate delivery (Program II).
  • Gain an understanding of pregnancy-related conditions vs. pre-existing conditions (Program II). 
  • Review rules and guidelines for obstetric (OB) diagnosis and procedure coding (Programs I, II and III). 
  • Apply the knowledge with assessment questions and coding exercises (Programs I, II, and III).
