NJHA and LeadingAge NJ & DE are pleased to announce the ninth annual Medicaid Managed Care Seminar on Oct.18. This program will be held in person at NJHA’s conference center.

The seminar is intended to foster communication surrounding the changing Medicaid Managed Care environment.

New Jersey’s Department of Human Services team will discuss recent policy and programmatic initiatives. The afternoon moderated panel discussion will feature the five Medicaid Managed Care Organizations with a focus on acute care, MLTSS and behavioral health services.

Topics will include the Medicaid redetermination process, important elements of the state’s 1115 waiver, behavioral health access, credentialling, HCBS, and more.


OBJECTIVES:

  • Describe the most recent policy and operational changes at the Department of Human Services.
  • Summarize new trends, policies and programs at the five Medicaid managed care organizations.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Managed care executives, finance leaders, long term care and assisted living administrators, behavioral health providers, home and community-based providers, care managers and discharge planners


Nursing Home Administrators Licensing Board Statement:
This continuing education program is sponsored/conducted by the Health Research and Educational Trust of New Jersey (HRETNJ) and is in compliance with N.J.A.C. 8:34-7.3 to provide licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA) and certified assisted living administrator (CALA) education credits accepted by the Nursing Home Administrators Licensing Board.

This education activity may only be used for continuing education credit and not to meet academic college credits.
This education activity has been approved for a total of 6.0 LNHA/CALA continuing education credits.
