This conference will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, collaboration, and leadership in the field of perinatal quality management with a focus on Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Participants will have the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences and best practices while fostering an environment of learning and exchange of ideas. Networking opportunities will allow participants to connect with other quality healthcare professionals, building relationships and collaborations to improve the quality of care. Keynote speakers will provide thought-provoking insights and perspectives on quality management and SUD, inspiring attendees and challenging conventional thinking to drive positive outcomes.

These offerings are part of a series of educational opportunities for clinicians and care team leadership engaged in the priorities of the New Jersey Perinatal Quality Collaborative’s support of hospitals’ efforts to implement the AIM patient safety bundle focused on caring for pregnant and postpartum people with substance use disorder.

This important course is complimentary, thanks to funding support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through the N.J. Perinatal Quality Collaborative. It provides credits in continuing medical education, continuing nursing education and for healthcare executives.

Learning Outcomes for this Conference
At the completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Review knowledge and exchange ideas in the field of SUD and quality reporting;
  • Explain how quality reporting can improve the quality of care in patients with SUD;
  • List three quality measures that have led to positive patient outcomes.
