Learning Outcomes for this Session:
At the completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Summarize the regulatory requirements and standards governing plan of correction development in healthcare settings;
  • Identify how to effectively assess healthcare practices to identify areas that require correction or improvement;
  • Describe how to cultivate a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within healthcare organizations.

9:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Registration & Breakfast

10 a.m. - 12 noon: AM Session - Basic principles & requirements for writing an effective POC.

12 noon - 1 p.m.: Lunch

1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: PM Session - Workshop; sample POC
writing and constructive comments.
