Getting it Right: Facility Reportable Events

Facility reportable events are frequently misunderstood and can present facilities with questions or concerns about regulatory compliance. The NJ Department of Health will focus on the most frequently reported events and the highest volume questions from facilities. DOH will address required reporting timeframes, NoviSurvey and how to report in a manner that is most efficient.

  • Identify what must be reported to NJDOH
  • Explain the reportable prompts
  • Describe timeframes for reporting
  • Identify how to use NoviSurvey and the events reported most often.
