2024 Medicaid Managed Care Provider Update

Description:
During its tenth annual offering, NJHA and Leading Age NJ & DE are pleased to offer the Medicaid Managed Care Provider Conference. This in-person event features a day of information encompassing managed health plan policy and program changes. In the morning session, NJ Department of Human Services will provide Medicaid policy updates.In the afternoon, New Jersey’s five Medicaid Managed Care Payers will break out into two rotating panels. This seminar is essential for leaders across the continuum of healthcare to have up-to-the-minute information all in one place about Medicaid policy, program and contract changes and the health plans’ initiatives. Particular emphasis will be on the status of the inclusion of community-based behavioral health services under the 1115 comprehensive Medicaid waiver, news on credentialing process improvements and value-based payment models under consideration. This seminar is the networking event of the year for providers who work with Medicaid managed care.

Learning objectives:

  • Identify Medicaid managed care health plan policy and program changes.
  • Describe the NJ Department of Human Services’ policy and contract changes.
  • Become aware of the future direction of NJ’s FamilyCare/Medicaid program.
